Lousy day in school.....

Yesterday was subject registration day. Sigh.... It was easily my worst day in the whole of my december holidays. The whole NTU server JAMMED for 30mins!!! In the end, I only got 2 out of 4 of my first choice time slots. The overall result? My timetable looked quite shitty. Sigh... Seriously considering whether to take a PE. How how??? There's another bigger headache... I have to form groups of 3 or 4 ppl to do projects in the modules when the school reopens. The summary of the headache: How to appease everyone and make myself happy in the meantime? Sigh... Wonder how many of you guys know what I meant.

After the subject registration, me and 10 of my good friends had agreed to go to Tian Tian Huo Guo in Bugis to have dinner. The dinner was not bad but they could do with more meat varieties. I don't feel that it was value for money but I guess the company's worth it. Missed some of them cause I hardly see them last sem due to totally different timtable. Anyway, after that, we went to Swenson to have some ice-cream and to have our annual xmas gift x-change!! :-) However, to my horror, I have left my gift in the free access lab!!!! It was a body shop product and in the end, I went to Bugis Junction with Mark to buy a brand new present. Felt like a total dumb ass, not to mention the thinning of my wallet. (Later at night, Mark told me he left his thumbdrive in the free access lab.... Guess the lab profited a lot today due to our stupidity).

The gift x-change was a blast and all of us had fun exchanging gifts and presents and cards and sweets. This event was the silver lining in the otherwise lousy day. Thanks to Mark, Kwok Fon, Ivan, Huang Jie, Chun Wei, Margaret, Cynthia, Jessica, Rachel and Yvonne for making everything possible. May our "tradition" continue for a long long time... Though we might not all be in the same class next sem, may our friendship bond still be as strong.

Tomorrow last day of ACCA!!

WOo hoo!! My Dec job is coming to an end. Kind of sad actually. The money's part of the reason. The other reason is that I've came to know some frens who are friendly and basically, jokers. Haha... Most of them are from NUS and one is an exxon-mobil scholar. Doesn't hurt to have mroe connections, eh? Tomorrow gonna have dinner together. Hope it will be a blast!!

Hmm... Was thinking of switching from school to private for my driving lessons. I have enrolled but have not attended any driving classes. I wonder whether that will be allowed. Hmmm... Hmmmm.... Hopefully ba, cause it will be cheaper. But I do not know any reliable private driving instructor!! Any help, guys??

Stint at Expo..

Just 5 days into my holiday job. I'm working as an invigilator for the ACCA exams held at the Expo. I'm staying in CCK so you can imagine my agony at having to travel all the way to Expo. Grrr..... Pay isn't fantastic but hey, a beggar can't choose, right? Was fascinated at the huge number of people turning up to take the ACCA exams. Guess there's thousands of people out there fighting for the same rice bowl as me. Hmmm.... Being an invigilator is an interesting change for once. Hahaha.. At last, I am looking over the shoulder of someone taking an exam paper... :P Took a few glances at the paper as well, terms like variances, ABC, income statement all flew out. Sigh.... :( 3 more days of work to go!!!

Went to Soup restaurant with my gf and her family today to celebrate her birthday. First time there. Special mention of the restaurant because the food is not bad!! I seldom go to a chinese restaurant when I eat out and this was a nice change. The "samsui chicken" is highly recommened!!! Ok, i'm a chicken-lover so I might be a bit biased. Haha....

Going out again tomorrow.. I heard that "National Treasure" is not a bad movie. Intending to watch it tomorrow but I'm weighing the cost of watching a movie over the weekend against the possible enjoyment that I might have as a result of watching the movie. Hmmmmm.....

Going back to lift my dumbbells... That's all for now!!

super broke.....

Gave in to the last bit of resistance at last and went to enrolled myself to learn how to drive. Went to BBDC and blur like f*** there. Everything also dunno and dunno where to go. Haha.... Hmmm.. At first enrolled for the class 3 auto lessons (meaning I can only drive auto cars) but then I realised that the number of lessons needed and the cost of the lessons is the same as those that is class 3 manual license. So I changed my mind to take class 3 manual license. (The difference is that class 3 manual can drive BOTH auto and manual cars, so more worth it)

And I got 1 big complain.... IT"S SO EXPENSIVE!!!!! damn it!! 1 lesson already need over $60 and I need to clear like 25 lessons?!?!?! Realised that I need to waste close to $2k for that piece of flimsy plastic. &(%*^#%#%* SIgh..... So broke.... It's gonna be an un-merry christmas. :(

Hmmm.... Got floorball tomorrow. Hope to work up a good sweat and lay some of my fats to waste. Sigh....
