Happy new year everyone!!!

Happy new year everyone! It's the year of the Dog so I guess it's the start of the 3rd cycle for ppl born in 1982. Fast eh? 24 yrs just like that. On the brink of leaving the education system for good (maybe not).

Nice pic? Just revived my interest in maplestory and had gotten quite a nice bunch of frens to play with and train together. The lady on the left is from 21 yr old girl from a poly in singapore, the one holding the fish on a stick is a 21 yr old guy from malaysia. the one with red hat is a married woman with kids residing in Singapore and the one to the right of Cai Shen is yours truly. Hee....

Predator and prey (part I)

Realised that my FYP is lagging far far behind most groups, xiao pang, chio lian and I decided to sacrifice our saturday to hit the street to beg, i mean request for the public to help us to fill in our questionnaire.

Interesting things that happened:
1. Chio lian was "bio-ed" by a group of about 5 china chinese men. They were watching her mini skirts all the way.

2. The longest time taken to complete a survey was 30mins. The volunteer talked for a long long time and I really appreciate stories that he told me throughout.

3. I walked a lady to China Square because she don't know how to get there. She said it's payback time for helping me with a survey.

Here's the result of a day in the office:
Time taken: 5 hours x 3 = 15hrs
Number of surveys completed: 20 (nomis) + 18 (chio lian) + 17 (xiao pang) = 55
Productivity rate = 3.67 vict... volunteers per hour
Time taken on average for each volunteer: 16.3 mins
Time taken on average to complete 1 survey: 5 mins
Time wasted per survey completed: 11 mins

Haiz... Tired... Bushed.... Going for another round next wed. Any ppl who want to watch us suffer can go raffles place to do so. =(

Going for a good game of soccer with ah huang tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. =)

Added:
I guess I just have to accept the fact that some actions of mine, no matter how much explanation, are beyond forgiveness. I guess, perhaps, I am going to lose at least 2 of my friends, whom I do treasure and value as friends still. I guess, maybe, you do not realise the hurt and torment that I am subjected to for the past few days... Yup, I fully deserve it.

consistently misunderstood...

Guess I have upsetted quite a few people due to my decision to add/drop out of 2 modules.

"We added the modules as a group of friends and should stick as a group"
Response: I agree with the principle and I do feel guilty about it. However, adding and dropping the modules was due to some personal reasons and there is totally no correlation to the level of friendship I have with all of you. I still want all of you as my friends.

"You added and dropped the modules without consulting us"
Response: The decision to go ahead was a hasty one and it took place 1 day before the end of the add/drop period. I would have consulted if the dateline was one week later, which I thought it was.

In order to change one of the index, I have to change the index of another module due to clashed timings. I have no initial intention to change 2 indexes.

Rabbit, now I know why you refused to take an empty seat beside me during lecture yesterday. Guess you were/are disgrunted.

KJ, I have to apologise to you for being transferred out. The position that you feel that you are in is part of the reason why I dropped the index in the first place. I'm sorry I got you implicated instead. =(

Wendee, sorry. Your 2x snubs (so far) are noted.

To the rest who did not voice their dissent: sorry.

I think I am pretty much misunderstood. And I do not know how to deal with it.

Last day of work at PwCCF

8 weeks was a short period of time man... It's going to be back to school again tomorrow. Haiz... Ultimate sian-ness. But then again, a few more months and I would have completed the long formal education route that I had began some 18 years back (wait a min. I am THAT old?). Kind of nostagic to think of the good old days where the only worry in my mind is whether the favourite food stall in canteen got open on that day or not.

Took some last day pics and posted them in this entry. Was quite nervous actually when I was told my supervisor name because it is not in 3 chunk of words (eg. Lim X X or Tan Y Y). However, he turned out to be quite a nice guy who turns up to work later than me even on the day when I reported the latest to work (around 10pm). Heh.... Overslept lah..... Overall a not too bad experience in advisory and perhaps will choose that line of job in the future. Who knows right?

Went to Amex D&D after last day of work due to some effective persuasion from Dap. Held at Raffles Convention Centre and we have to pay for the meal. =( No free dinner... =( The theme was old Shanghai those type and there are quite some ppl who dressed up to the theme with Wong Fei Hong wannabes etc. Was quite hilarious that ppl can actually find the time and effort and money to buy something which they will not wear often. Hmmm... Overall a not too bad experience too. Though I wish sometimes I can catch what the ang mohs are saying better. =)

Oh yah, I would like to thank PwC for being my main supplier for my back-to-school stationery. Full of gratitude to you guys. Will work my ass off for you to repay when I next report to work in the later half of this year ok? =P

I-think-I-have-seen-this-joke-before-but-I-would-like-to-share-with-everyone entry

9 Things I Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid $9 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do that is longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus came, would I be standing here???

long long long post...

Interesting post there by RabbitBlood though I think I know some of those stuff about him. Ask him to cook for you one day if you have the chance. Potential 3 michelin star chef. =P Hmmm.. Since I have nothing to blog recently and at the kind request of RabbitBlood, I shall now do a “RabbitBlood”:

7 things that scares me…
Haha… Are you kidding me? Me? Scared of something???? Bwahaha… okok… Since I am so humble, I shall now admit stuff that freak the hell out of me. Just don’t get me involved in some of the things stated in the list below…

1. Horror shows. Remember once there was this gathering at Rabbitblood’s house and they want to watch a show called “horror ship” or something. Since there was nothing *ahem* to be scared about, I put a cushion in front me to cover my eyes occasionally to protect me from the glare from rabbitblood’s tv. *nervous laughter*

2. Solo walk along a trail at night when you know there are “ghosts” around. Or perceived ghost. Like a slow walk in old change hospital.

3. Holding a rifle, carrying a signal set, at night, can’t see my outstretched fingers and….. lost. You get the picture.

4. Waking up one day to learn that I/loved ones/friends had become disabled or struck by a disease/illness or worst… died. =(

5. To be told by your loved ones that they no longer cared or loved you

6. My backup hard disk crashing and wiping out all my songs/animes/pictures/documents etc etc…

7. Feeling that my life had been wasted while on my deathbed

7 things that I like most…
Got a lot leh... I like a lot of things leh.. How how??

1. Playing soccer once a week with my sec frens and xiao pang

2. Playing computer games! =)

3. Doing stuff with my loved ones

4. Travelling. Would love to see the world; not alone preferably.

5. Slacking. Be it at home or at work. Heh…

6. To be appreciated and rewarded for effort put into something (sounds like some accounting theory huh?)

7. Electronic gadgets. Heh.. I’m a guy mah… But mostly see-see-no-buy type. Haiz… Can I name a few here? O2 atom, ipod, psp… haiz… These 3 items already cost $2k. *Vomit*

7 important things in my room…
Eh… Lots of junks in my room also.. And a lot of dust. Haiz… Dun know why they wun go away..

1. My new $2k PC!!! Can run all games!!! Can msn!!! Can see porn.. I mean protest against porn movies in forums! Woots!!

2. My laptop!!! Can play LAN games with myself in my room. What fun!

3. My “soft-soft” bolster. You know? Those kind that was with you since young. Haha…

4. Happy memories floating around in my room

5. There’s this super super huge birthday card which I received in my sec sch. It’s kind of unique cause I guess that is the biggest card I have ever received. Unfortunately, I have not touched it for ages and I think it is covered under 10in of dust. Hmmm…

6. Photos stored in my room, including a framed one of me when I was less than one year old and about to face the brave new world.

7. My old lego set. Guess it’s the oldest toy in my possession now back from my childhood days.

7 random facts about me…
1. Parachuted before. Nothing as glamorous as what you see during National Day. Went for 3 operations because of parachuting too. Haiz… But hey, getting 5 months MC is not a bad deal. =P

2. My weight has been steadily increasing. Die liao lah…

3. I own 2 hamsters before. One of it killed the other one for reasons unknown. Then I just release the other one at the carpark near my place. I have exiled it.

4. Knew the trick of downplaying expectations since sec sch. My mum think that I will not do well in O levels and made a bet with me. For every A1s I get, I will get some money each, A2s.... etc in decreasing amount. I know I can score pretty well so I told her to increase the amount cause I am a lousy student and I need the motivation. Heh…. An A1 was worth $100!!! The house lost all at the end of the day. I have 4 A1s I think. But then again, my mum is a persuasive person. I think I only managed to settle for a discman then. Haiz…

5. I am not gay. Some admin personnel back in my army camp ask me whether I am a gay or not. *^*@!&$&_* I think he is a gay though.

6. Once spent $600 for a brand-new-no-contract song ericsson T630. The biggest biggest biggest expenditure mistake I have ever made so far. At least it fetched me $400 in trade-in value when I trade it in for N6230. Or was it $300? Or was it $200? @!($&(&% *heartache*

7. I am quite poor due to excessive spending. So this is much in contrary to popular belief that I am quite well to do.

7 things I plan to do before I die…
1. Eat the red tea longan dessert from Changi Village

2. Trace out my family tree (how to start huh?)

3. Travel to many countries around the world with my loved one

4. Visiting places for the last time that is so integrated into my memories

5. Looking through all the pictures that I have collected over my lifetime

6. Making sure that my family is well covered for financially

7. Perhaps cry bah… I dun wan to die!! Boo hoo hoo… Went to see a counselor before in JC over such an issue but well.. that’s another story for another day

7 things I can do…
1. I can wiggle my ears. Heh…

2. I can multitask reasonably well I think. Breathing and sleeping and dreaming is the best multitask combo I can perform to perfection.

3. I can get irritated quite easily. =(

4. I can finish a meal under 2 mins

5. I can break a 8 or 10 digit code metal lock quite well. (those kind where u need to press 4 of the buttons to unlock the lock) Learnt the trade in army.

6. I can sleep a lot. Can sleep like 14hrs a day. Haiz… So much time wasted.

7. I can drive an auto car quite well… illegally.

7 things I can't do…

1. I can’t head a soccer ball. Always siam when the ball come to my head. =(

2. I can’t play musical instruments except recorder. Hope my fingers are fat enough to cover the last hole at the end of the recorder.

3. I can’t swim well nor tread water at all. Don’t throw me into swimming pool or sea!!! I will die!!!

4. I can’t do well for examination papers. My coursework always pull my overall grades up.

5. I can’t iron my shrit. Well… I can but I can’t do it well… =(

6. I can’t multi-task sometimes. I know it contradicts the point above but lemme give you an analogy. A computer can run a lot of office programs well but if you try to run some video editing program and an intensive 3D game at the same time, the system will lack. Same as me. If an activity is resource hungry , I will tend to lag to everything else around me.

7. I can’t drive… legally. But believe me, I can drive!!! I dun need a LICENSE to prove something which I can do right? Right??? Hor pingwen….

7 things I say the most…

1. “wa raoooo!”

2. “sure sure sure”

3. “yoz”

4. “conflim”

5. “steady pon pi pi one”

6. “yah right”

7. “oh my gawd!!!”

7 celeb crushes…
Hmmm……

1. Ruby Lin Xin Ru – used to have a poster of her at the back of my door. Found out later that she is a party animal. So…. Poster gone.

2. Zhang Ziyi

3. Erm…. Hermoine from Harry Potter?

4. Erm.. Erm.. Will update again when I have a chance to…. Heh..

7 people I'll love to see doing this…
Heh.. My turn to try to sabo some ppl!!!

1. Pingwen

2. Kai Jun

3. Hanwei

4. JIT

5. JIT

6. JIT

7. JIT (eh… brudder… you get the hint already or not? I used up 4 of my slots for your name ok? Wa raooooooo eh…..)

Heh… Managed to type all this while in office. Maybe I can put this down as work done in my PA report. Hahahahahahha…. Just another day in the office.
