Holy grail

Had terribly good luck while plaing mahjong over the weekend. Not only did I had a "qing yi se" (all bamboos by the way), I managed to conjure up the holy hand of mahjong - "si san yao" (well, maybe "tian hu" IS the holy hand). Things went well cause my hand only consists of 7 tiles out of the 14 tiles required and everytime I got one that I wanted, my hands began to tremble more and more until I got 13 of them and someone threw the final tile I needed. First time man. For those who don't understand what I'm talking about - too bad.

Manchester United won 2-0 over Chelsea over the weekend, so that's a piece of good news too. Though deep inside me, I know that sometime better go terribly wrong for Arsenal soon or else it'll be hard to catch them. It's amazing what a 21 year old dude can do when a 25 year old dude like me is huffing and puffing to play even 45 minutes.

Which brought me on to the next issue: I was playing right wing for Credit Suisse in our amateur league against a team called J-Heat (all Japanese goons) and we were rightly thrashed 4-1. I swear, the ang-mohs are playing it England style - pumping the ball far and making the midfielders run up and down the entire length of the pitch. Now, there's a reason why I prefer, and excel, in 5-a-side - the pitch is smaller and my speed is to an advantage. In a real soccer match, my speed counts for nothing because I have no stamina! By the time I sped to the ball, i'm already out of breath to dribble past the opponent!

But that's not to say I did not dribble past any of them at all. *knowing wink*
