at last!!!
Had been wanting to blog since last Friday but I couldn't seem to find the time. Though I have lots to do now, I guess I can spare a few mins to blog something...
Okie.. I attended my first Bloomberg lesson somewhere in Raffles Place last Friday. It really was an eye-opener for me. I was late by about 30mins for the seminar but the receptionist was kind enough to let me in. I was wearing a long sleeved nike t-shirt and my trusty pair of jeans. I realised that I was quite under-dressed when a guy (who is much bigger size than me. I think he moonlight as a bouncer) in a suit ESCORT me to the training room. I truly believe that if he did not lead the way, I would have gotten lost in the company. There were no partitions at all and with one glance, you can see the other side of the room (which is quite far away). There were computers all over the place. Bloomberg is something that is accessed with 2 monitor screens and it really look like a stock exchange with graphs and numbers and words all over the numerous monitors. My mind was just "Wow". Even their pantry is special. It look like 7-11 where drinks and food are aplenty. Slurrrpp.. But being the kind hearted and shy me, I only took a can of coke and a can of mocha coffee. Anywayz, after the seminar, I tried to find my way back to the MRT station. It was around lunch time and there were SOOO many people around. All wearing suits or biz attire. I felt kind of out of place with a t-shirt on. Haha.. But it's ok. Let me enjoy my last few days of walking around Raffles in t-shirt can??
Hope that one day I can have the same purposeful stride as them. Hope that one day I can work there and let someone else feel uncomfortable wearing a t-shirt upon seeing me. Wahahahaha... In the meantime, I should snap out of my fantasy and read more of my notes. *grumble* So much to read and understand. Sianz... Not to mention the numerous projects. Too busy to change the song on my blog as well...
Hmmm.. My grandma was hospitalized a few days ago. It seems like she had been admitted to an hospital quite regularly recently. =( I hate hospital. The smell in the air, the long lonely corridor, the feeling of illness and even death around the corner just give me the creep. Don't asl me to go to the old changi hospital please. The sight of it tell me something is wrong already. Anyway, my grandma had changed quite a lot in appearance; she had became very thin. =( No longer the chubby grandma just about a year back. Sigh... Felt really sad... There had been a few deaths happening around my peers recently as well. Felt totally helpless....
Tomorrow going to sentosa with Ivan and gang. Hope the sun would be perfect. Perfect as in SCORCHING hot. I wan my sun tan.
