random mumblings...

Hehz... School has just started and my schedule had became soooo packed for the last week! First of all, there's a recruitment fair for freshies on monday and tuesday and I have to man the booth on certain time slots. Next, there's lots of readings to be done!!! Sobz sobz... This sem going to be one time jialat jialat. The questions are so open ended and the readings are so much... Hopefully I can clear as much readings as possible now so that I will have more time for the PROJECTS in the near near future. =( Hope my project mates will be "power" enough to pick up my slack....

Feeling fat recently. Sigh... But reach home feel so drained and tired liao. No mood to excercise. Sianz... Urrgghhh....

I have just signed up for bloomberg courses. Reasons to sign up? 1. It's free. 2. I heard their pantry is fantastic (and it's free). Hehehehe... But the downside is: 1. The training place is at Raffles. 2. Time and effort involved (need to take exams one). Hmm.. Let's see how long it will take before my interest dies off eh? =P

Had been going down to TKGS (tanjong katong girls school) to teach some sec 1 kids on how to play floorball as part of my club's effort to canvass for money. Heh... The kids are soooo noisy and energetic. Hard to control them sia. =P And their command of english is much better than mine when I was their age! Haha... But it's interesting to see them behave at times. Can observe that they have some cliques forming at such a young age already. Cries like "I want to be same group as you", "Join us join us" and even "Join the other team lah" were oftenly heard. Tsk... There's one girl who was especially outcast by her friends. Don't know why either. Die lah... Now already got generation gap liao...

Sigh.. Life sucks when you have an unhappy home to look forward to after school. Tried not to get affected so much after almost 3 years of constant parental bickering. $ seems to be the agenda of every bickering. Sigh.. Will I be able to make loads of money in the future? Scared I may be making ends meet only and slogging away for 30 years till I retire. Quite a sad life right? Sianz..

Oops.. Gotta go and make a few phone calls to some freshies to tell them the floorball clinic dates and timings.. Will update my blog again when I am free..

Civilian Conversion Course in progress

Just returned to the civilisation yesterday. Urgh... The jungles in Marsiling was terrible. Main reason for this is because we bash (ie. forced) our way up the forested slope towards our destination where we are supposed to blow up something there. The place was pitch dark and I had to repeatedly call out to the leader and follow his voice. Progress was impeded as well due to the vibrant growth of trees and vines and protruding roots EVERYWHERE. Most of the time, I find myself entangled by vines and I have to pull the vines up to pass underneath. The problem is that most of these vines had thorns on them. =( And the worse news is that after the person in front had passed, these vines will come swinging back... towards me. AHHH.... It was a horrible horrible wee thursday morning... *Glup*

Exchanged some textbooks with a fren yesterday too. Heh.. Can save some money. Now have a slight headache regarding a module to be taken next semester. I had registered for advanced bank management but Huang Jie and wife wants to take some entrepreneurship module. Sigh...

Reservist... Sianz man...

Back from 1 week of serving my dear nation. Still got 1 more week to go. Sigh.. The coming week going to be damn xiong. Got 2 live firings and 1 mission to go. Sianz.... And sure cannot get marksmanship one. I am bobo shooter. hahaha.... Go war must ask enemy come nearer so I can shoot him. haha...

Example of how "ley chey" SAF can be. We went for a virtual shoot one of the days last week (one of those simulation thingy loh.... SAF advanced liao mah..) to test your shooting skills. Things were wrapped up by around noon but the bus was indented (that means the booking of the bus) at 4pm!!! We spent the next 4hrs slacking around, sleeping, talking, playing bridge. Haha.... Reservist man...

We played a "game" (while at the virtual shooting place) involving Hanwei, Benjamin, David, Johnny and me and the game rule is that we can ONLY converse in mandrain. Any english words or hokkien uttered will translate to 10 push ups. Haha... Ben lost. hahahahahha.... That potato guy...

Happy birthday to Marky boy. Glad you enjoyed your birthday celebration yesterday. =) You heng ah, no sabotage...

Happy 21st birthday to Miss D. Her first cry on this Earth was on 11/7. =)
