End of projects~

Phew... There were tons of projects this semester. The last one (AC213, some IT module) ended last friday. My friends in another accounting group told me that there are worse project schedules to come.. shudder~

Anyway, kind of glad I started this IT project quite early. Though I believe that some other groups started around the same time as us (during the 1 week march break), I think consistent work on the project paid dividends in the end. Managed to hand in 9hrs before the dateline. Think it's the first project that I handed in so early. Helped some ppl in the process and some kind souls helped me out too. Thanks guys~

Taking a break from revising my exam and thus blogging.

Oh yah. I**n never cease to amaze me. His questions are getting harder and harder to comprehend, much less answering them. His IT project is a prime example of what he is capable of and more, taking into account that the whole Access program was created by him. MV and gang also. Never take a look at HJ's. Think it will be impressive too...

Ok, back to other story. Yesterday (sat) was a floorball relagation match against NUS saints (this is their weaker team. their stronger team is called NUS Nemesis). We lost 6-2 and we are kicked to 2nd division come the next floorball league next year january. Once again, it's potential unfulfilled. Oh yah, my battle scars for that match. AHem* Left and right knee abrasion, left hand abrasion, left forearm bruise, neck bruise, swollen cut on right eyelid, broken pair of specs. Haha... M i playing rugby or floorball??

One last thing to talk about. And that is the passing of the pope. It does not matter that I do not know him. Just that a passing of a man could have such an impact on the world proves how great he was. I used to wonder why is he so hunched back, then i came to know that he's suffering from parkinson's disease (which has no cure to those who dun know). Death is ALWAYS a sad thing. Hope his efforts can bring about peace unto the world.

here we go again~~

Wooo... Got a big complain about one of my project. :(

Here goes:

We have a project (6 men grp) which was supposed to be due on a Thursday. On the day before it, we had a meeting and edited about 60% of the report. Then this guy, X, volunteered to type up the rest and compile the rest. Then i anticipated that on thursday, all we had to do a final editing, fix up the appendix and print it. We agreed to meet at 0830hrs the next day.

On thurs, i woke up late and I took a cab to sch, arriving at 0900hrs. To my surprise, no one was there yet. I called X and others but no one picked up the phone. I thot shouldn't be a prob cause we are near completion anyway. However, X called at around 0930hrs and said he oversleep. Ok, that was fine. Then he continued to said that he DID NOT DO HIS PART AT ALL. What can I say? That project was due the next day and there IS something more important than that?

Ok, so he came down and we tried to cover the damage. At 1030hrs, Marvin came to help out (he oversleep too) and I went for my lesson. Rongfeng came too while i was having lesson. After my lesson, I rushed back to the FAL and it was chaotic there... They are all frantically typing stuff etc and X was damn relax. Rongfeng tell me that he even have time to talk to girls. Guess it's a foregone conclusion that Marvin, RF and me were hopping mad after we submit the report (it was late 15mins by the way). What could have been a good report had turned into tatters.

X did not do his work. Fine, that can be forgiven if he had shown more effort in the FAL when we were rushing stuff. However, he did not show effort and in Rongfeng's words, "he was not remorseful at all".

Sigggghhhhhhhhh... What's done cannot be undone.
